I think the hobbit feet were pushing the boundry of legs. That would hurt to put socks on.
When I first saw the feet, I kinda hoped it was just some 'fro spirit glued on for effect. That they are real came home to me in an awful way.
Really? I was really hoping that was a shot of Sean Astin or Elijah Wood getting into makeup... ewww...
