It doesn't take much to make me a very happy girl.
Today I was cheered merely by not locking myself out of the house when I took out the garbage.
Yesterday I was happy because no one tried to run me down with their shopping carts whilst I tried my hand at Christmas shopping.
Take joy where you can find it in the doses it is offered to you.
Amen. I truly believe that happiness lies in learning to appreciate the small stuff.

Sage advice. I shall be happy that I was still able to walk after shoveling the snow off the walk, and that it only took half an hour to defrost my hands when I went inside.
ReplyDeleteSeriously, it was only past -30 today with the wind chill. That's something to be thankful for.
That and cats that keep your feet warm at night.
