This is Jen's ear.
See the tympanic membrane?
Hers has fluid from the Eustachian tube side that is pushing on it painfully. It is also making her very dizzy and yes, she does look like Bono when she walks. She has to keep her arms out to keep from walking into things. That's actually kind of entertaining....
The littlest parts of out body, ones riddled with nerve endings, can take us out of the life equation with the tiniest of provocations.
Jen must take horse pills, squirt things into her nose and fight a malaise that threatens her vast pile of things to be done because of a wee bit of fluid behind a tiny bit of membrane.
Enjoy this day and enjoy your sense of balance for one who is oddly bruised and exhausted but has a wonderful sense of perspective.
Yikes, chick! Get better soon!

ReplyDeleteDid it all start with a tingling sensation in the ear? In the month since that began, I have been feeling dizzy and fainting. Maybe this answers a question.
