This from Rick Lisko; the guy that hit a deer with his truck and when going to collect his dinner from the driveway, discovered it had seven legs. Rick is full of quotes about his experience.
"I imagine the bigger it got, the longer these legs would get."
"It's a pretty weird deer. It kind of gives you the creeps when you look at it," said Lisko, who described the extra legs as looking like "crab pinchers."
"It was definitely a freak of nature. I guess it's a real rarity."
The best quote: "And by the way, I did eat it."
Looking for a Happy Ending?
The world's tallest man, Bao Xishun, a 7-foot-9 herdsman from Inner Mongolia, saved the lives of two very sick dolphins.Really!
Jen is too frazzled to make this up!
The dolphins had eaten some of the plastic from the edge of their pool. The vets were stymied after attempts to surgically remove the plastic caused the dolphins stomachs to contract around the surgical instruments. Because of the that the shape of the dolphins' stomachs, the staff was also unable to pull the plastic out by hand.
Enter Bao!
With 41.7-inch arms, he was able to reach into the mouths of both dolphins (as staff held the mammals mouths open with towels to keep their savior from being bitten) and retrieve the larger bits of debris. The rest was small enough to safely pass through the intestines.

Massive deadlines and I've been smacked hard upside the head by the bad mood fairy. So I'm doing what most tender hearted girls do in this instance: shopping.
The world can wait as I paw through a gazillion things I don't need and racks of things I suddenly feel I can't live without.
If I find my way back here, my mood will no doubt be determined by what's in my shopping bag.

For anyone that has heard about the explosion that took place in Milwaukee, know that Ruth and Jon heard the explosion, felt it shake the bulding, but are ok.

My Phone's on Vibrate for Me
A phone, set on vibrate, was smuggled into the Mount Young Offenders Institute (love that cheery name!) in the "lower" orifice of a prisoner.
He pushed it up just a wee bit too far and surgery was needed to remove it.
