In their new terms of service, that apply to anyone who downloaded the instant messenger program after February 5, anything displayed or written in their messages becomes the property of AOL to be used and distributed however they want.
I don't like their browser, I hate their ads.

That's actually quite cool, because one night when MSN Messenger was down, I downloaded AIM because I didn't want to stop talking...and I said lots of really horrible things about AIM, because it sucks. And now they own those things, and it's like giving them a big box of poo for Christmas, and it makes me happy.
