I was very pleased with this year's Best in Show, Carlee, a German short haired pointer. I picked her from her first appearence. It was five year old Carlee's last show and it was good to see the small doggy yap factories lose to her glorious lines and silent dog dignity.
Her handler, Michelle Osdtermiller was a little surprised. "I am stunned," Ostermiller said. "This is just her personality. She's a sweetheart. She's our house pet. She has her couch and her toy box. She's very calm." And now, she will retire, as most Westminster champions do.
