This is what happens right before the kids get their hair cut by mommy with a new buzzer:

Unless it's off time, there is always a damned Jordan roaming about with a camera.
If it's offtime, there's always a Jordan stumbling about with a beer.
To clarify....
On Time: When an author is doing a signing, a panel or roaming about during a convention. Basically times when one would expect to be accosted by fans.
Off Time: When an author should be able to assume he is off the clock and just hanging out, such as late night bar scenes, hotel rooms playing poker, eating.....
