My definition is quite a bit different from yours.
If we follow yours then we'd find that most sociopaths would then be cool. Politicians would be cool. Michael Flately would be cool. Paris Hilton would be cool and, most horribly, Bryon Q. would be cool

I'm not saying being apathetic is cool, just not being concerned about the opinion of others. Of course this means The Edge is ultra cool.
